Acronis True Image 2015 Iso Bootable Usb Work

To create and use a bootable USB for Acronis True Image 2015

  1. Format USB as FAT32 (or NTFS) and create an MBR with a single primary partition.
  2. Mount ISO (Windows 8/10/11: double-click) or use 7-Zip to extract all files from the ISO to the USB root.
  3. Ensure boot files exist: look for \boot, \efi folders, and a bootmgr or isolinux/syslinux files.
  4. Install a bootloader:
    • Partition scheme: MBR (Do not choose GPT; Acronis 2015's bootloader predates native GPT booting).
    • Target system: BIOS or UEFI-CSM (If your PC is UEFI-only, try "UEFI-CSM" or "BIOS (UEFI-CSM)").
    • File system: Rufus will auto-select FAT32. Leave it.
