Adp-160er Schematic Fix Access
Finding an official or comprehensive schematic for the power supply (used in the PS4 Slim) is difficult because Sony does not publicly release them. However, repair communities have documented key components and partial circuit diagrams to help with common failures. Core Components & Identification

EMI Filter & Rectification:
The AC input first passes through a fuse, varistor (for surge protection), and an EMI filter. It is then rectified by a bridge rectifier into high-voltage DC (approx. 300V–400V). Adp-160er Schematic
- generate a reference schematic diagram with specific component values for a target output voltage and load (state desired Vout and max load), or
- look up the ADP-160ER datasheet and extract exact pin names and recommended designs.
- No output → Check fuse, bridge rectifier, bulk capacitor voltage (~340V DC), startup resistor to PWM IC.
- Output cycling → Fault in secondary-side feedback (bad optocoupler, TL431, or output capacitor).
- Low output voltage → Check output caps (ESR), voltage divider resistors in feedback.
- Blown fuse → Shorted MOSFET, bridge diode, or input MOV (overvoltage).
- Use the datasheet’s Vref value. Choose Rbottom in the 10 kΩ–100 kΩ range to avoid excessive divider current while keeping stability; compute Rtop = Rbottom × (Vout/Vref − 1).
- Example: Vref = 0.8 V, desired Vout = 3.3 V, choose Rbottom = 20 kΩ → Rtop ≈ 20k × (3.3/0.8 − 1) ≈ 62.5 kΩ (use standard 62 kΩ).
