"Boys Over Flowers" is based on the Japanese manga "Hana Yori Dango" by Natsumi Itsuki and follows the story of Gu Jun-pyo (played by Lee Min-ho), the leader of a group of wealthy and influential boys known as the F4, who attend the prestigious Shinhwa High School. The group, consisting of Gu Jun-pyo, Kim Bum-joong (played by Kim Joon), Song Woo-bin (played by Wooyoung), and Yoon Ji-hoon (played by Kim Hyung-min), are known for their arrogance and cruelty, often bullying and humiliating their classmates.
