Camtasia has evolved from a simple screen capture utility into an AI-driven, comprehensive video editing suite. Since its debut in 2002, the software has moved from a traditional "Studio" versioning system (Versions 1–8) to an annual release cycle starting in 2018 . Recent Major Versions (2024–2026)
