Technical Overview: Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) 2.7 Update and Acquisition

• End of Support Date: Typically occurred around late 2021 or early 2022.
• Security Risks: Because it is EoS, Cisco no longer releases security patches or bug fixes for version 2.7.
• Recommendation: Unless you have a specific legacy requirement, it is highly recommended to download ISE 3.1 or 3.2 (the current Long-lived or Enterprise releases). If you are installing a fresh environment, do not use 2.7.
