D5 Render Asset Library Portable Download Full May 2026

D5 Render does not officially offer a "one-click" feature to download the entire asset library (which contains over 13,000 assets) due to its massive file size and cloud-based architecture

  1. Perform the full download on one master machine (Computer A).
  2. Locate the default asset path:
    C:\ProgramData\D5 Render\Assets (Windows)
    Note: ProgramData is a hidden folder.
  3. Copy the entire Assets folder to an external SSD.
  4. On Computer B, paste the folder into the same ProgramData\D5 Render directory.
  5. Launch D5. Go to Settings > Preferences > Local Assets Path. Point it to the new folder. D5 will verify the files (takes 10-15 mins) and then report "Local Library Synced."
