Tool: Download Patched Metro 2033 Benchmark
How to Download and Use the Metro 2033 Benchmark Tool
- VRAM overheating (artifacting)
- Power delivery throttling
- Unstable overclocks (driver crashes)
Unlike modern benchmarks (like 3DMark Time Spy) which run for 90 seconds, the Metro 2033 loop runs for roughly 3-4 minutes of heavy combat and scene changes. It is excellent for detecting:
- Resolution – up to 4K (depends on GPU)
- DirectX – 9, 10, 11
- Quality – Low, Medium, High, Very High
- Texture filtering – 4x, 8x, 16x AF
- Anti‑aliasing – MSAA (2x/4x), AAA
- Tessellation – On/Off (critical for DX11 performance)
- Install DirectX End-User Runtime (June 2010) to fix missing DLLs.
- Disable Fullscreen Optimizations in Properties > Compatibility.
- Set PhysX to CPU or GPU manually in NVIDIA Control Panel, as modern drivers sometimes misinterpret the legacy calls.
