EasyOBDII 2.2.0 — What’s New and How to Use It
- USB ELM327 (v2.1 or v2.3): The most stable configuration. No battery drain issues.
- Bluetooth ELM327 (v2.1 clones): Works for live data, but version 2.2.0’s data logging remains stable at lower baud rates.
- Wi-Fi ELM327: Supported, but latency is higher. Not recommended for real-time graphing.
The most visible change is the user interface. The old version felt utilitarian; the 2.2.0 update introduces a customizable, widget-based dashboard. You can now drag and drop gauges, graphs, and digital readouts to prioritize the data you care about most—whether that’s coolant temperature, fuel trims, or vehicle speed.
