1. The Game’s Launcher (RE6.exe): Looks for Steam.dll and Steamclient.dll.
2. The Steam Client: Must be running and authenticated.
3. The VC++ Redistributables: The glue that holds them together.

1. Run in Compatibility Mode

1. Go to the game installation folder (see path above).
2. Find the main game executable: BH6.exe.
3. Right-click it and select Properties.
4. Go to the Compatibility tab.
5. Check the box: "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
6. Select Windows 7 from the dropdown.
7. Check the box: "Run this program as an administrator."
8. Click Apply and OK.
