Updating the firmware on your can be done through several methods depending on whether your device is working or currently "bricked" (non-functional). Method 1: Online System Update (Easiest)

The Flash: A red progress bar will appear, then yellow. This takes 5–10 minutes. Do not disconnect.
Success: A green checkmark appears. Disconnect and power on the phone. The first boot may take 10 minutes.
- The Bootloader: The code that initializes the hardware before the Android OS loads.
- The Android OS: A customized version of Android (usually Android 11 or 12 Go Edition for this model).
- The Radio/Modem Firmware: Controls cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
- The Vendor Partition: Contains proprietary drivers from ZTE for the camera, touchscreen, and audio.
- Copy
update.zip to an SD card.
- Boot into recovery mode (Power + Volume Up).
- Select Apply update from SD card.
- Wait for the process to complete.
