Updating your firmware is the best way to fix persistent issues like gyroscope lag or auto-shutdown bugs . Because this controller supports multiple platforms (Switch, PC, Android, and iOS), there are two primary ways to keep it current: using a PC for critical fixes or using the mobile app for general feature updates. Method 1: Update via PC (Recommended for Critical Fixes)

Leo grabbed his phone and downloaded the app (available on iOS and Android). He opened it and, as instructed, put his T4 Pro into Update Mode : Gamesir T4 Pro Update Firmware
He tried recalibrating in Windows. He tried swapping the USB cable. Nothing worked. - Disconnect the controller.
- Hold LB + RB + Home buttons simultaneously.
- While holding, plug in the USB cable.
- The LED should flash rapidly – now reopen the update tool and try again.
Connect and Check:
Tap on your device in the app. If a firmware update is available, a red dot or notification will appear next to the "Firmware Upgrade" option. Disconnect the controller
- Update via USB (PC): Connect the controller to your PC via USB as described in Method 1 and update to the latest firmware.
- Re-pair to Switch: Once updated, the internal Bluetooth stack will be optimized.
- Functionality: The firmware update via PC optimizes the Bluetooth connection for the Switch automatically. You do not need a separate "Bluetooth update" file.
“Yes!” Leo grinned, pulling off a perfect drift that sent him into first place.
- 0-25% – The controller LEDs spun in a circle. The app said: “Erasing old firmware.”
- 25-75% – The LEDs blinked faster. The app showed: “Writing new firmware. Do not touch.”
- 75-99% – A small vibration motor twitched in the controller. “Verifying data integrity.”
- 100% – The controller’s LEDs flashed green three times, then turned solid. The app displayed: “Success! Your GameSir T4 Pro is now up to date.”
