The narrative follows a protagonist who, as the title suggests, is disillusioned with romance. Hakunak does a great job of making this cynicism feel earned rather than edgy. The dialogue is snappy and realistic, and the branching paths actually feel like they carry weight. The pacing in v0.8 is particularly strong; it doesn’t rush the "romance" (or lack thereof), allowing the tension between the MC and the diverse cast of female characters to build naturally.
