Kuka Officelite Trial ((install))
KUKA.OfficeLite is the "virtual robot controller" for PCs. It’s essentially the offline version of the KUKA System Software (KSS). It allows you to: Write and Debug KRL (KUKA Robot Language) code on your laptop without needing a physical robot. Test cycle times and logic in a simulated environment. Ensure seamless transfer
- Test & debug KRL code before deployment on a live robot
- Train programmers safely on a virtual controller
- Validate cell logic with simulated signals and external PLCs
- Reduce downtime – no risk of collisions or production stops
- Support remote work – run OfficeLite on a laptop or VM
- Host OS: Windows 10/11 Pro (64-bit). Home edition is not recommended due to Hyper-V conflicts.
- Virtualization: KUKA officially supports VMware Workstation Pro or Oracle VirtualBox. Most trial users run the OfficeLite OVA (Open Virtual Appliance) inside a VM.
- Resources: Allocate at least 8GB of RAM and 4 CPU cores to the VM.
- Networking: The trial requires a virtual network adapter set to "Bridged" or "Host-only" for WorkVisual deployment.
