• Symptom: Resistance of +3V_LDO is 15 ohms.
• Boardview use: Highlight the net “+3V_ALW” or “+3V_S5”. The boardview will show all capacitors, resistors, and ICs connected to that rail. Remove them one by one until the short clears.

• ALW (Always On): Start by searching for 3VPCU or 5VPCU. These are generated immediately upon AC insertion. If these are missing on the LA-F952P, the boardview helps you locate the primary PWM controller (usually an Isl series or similar) and trace the enable signals back to the EC.
