Abstract

This paper introduces the MIDV550 topology, a novel switched-capacitor multilevel converter designed for 48 V to 12 V conversion in data center applications. We describe its top-side integration advantages (“top” referring to vertical power delivery). Simulation results show 98.6% peak efficiency at 550 kHz.
