Post-bypass steps
- Device not detected: Ensure Motorola ADB and Fastboot drivers are correctly installed. Try a different USB port (preferably USB 2.0).
Device not recognized

Launch the Module

- UMT interface isn’t beginner-friendly – you need to know what “Reset FRP (EDL)” means.
- Requires a licensed UMT dongle (not just the software).
- For XT2129-2, I had to manually select “Motorola > Sahara > Firehose” – auto-detect didn’t work.
- No 9008 port: Try different USB port / cable / press Vol keys for exactly 5 sec before connecting.
- UMT stuck at "Waiting for device": Reinstall Motorola drivers or use Zadig to replace driver with WinUSB for 9008.
- FRP remains after reset: Perform factory reset from stock recovery after FRP clear.
