Native Instruments updated their library encryption between Kontakt 6 and 7. To make v1.0 work:
- Section samples: multi-mic, multi-dynamic recordings of ensembles (violins, violas, cellos, basses).
- Articulations: sustains, legato, shorts (spiccato, pizzicato), shorts variations, and performance articulations accessible via keyswitches or GUI.
- Expressive controls: intuitive expression/volume, CC mapping, dynamics, and release options for realism.
- Built-in effects and routing: convolution reverb, EQ, compression and mic-mix controls to shape the ensemble sound without external processing.
- Performance-ready presets: tempo-synced phrases, cinematic pads, layered ensembles and mix-ready presets for quick sketching.
- Low CPU load: optimized for real-time playing and sketching in sessions.
When you first load the instrument, you will see the main interface. Here is how to navigate the "10" key aspects of the library: native instruments session strings pro 2 10 kontakt link
