Using a legacy or unknown Netcat executable poses significant risks:

If you have a local sandbox (e.g., , Detox , or a simple Windows Defender Application Guard), execute the binary in that environment and observe: netcat gui v13exe verified

Important framing: a GUI wrapper around netcat can be extremely convenient, but executable files named like “v13.exe” and claiming to be “verified” should be treated with caution unless you can verify source, integrity, and behavior. I’ll show you how.

Security Risks & Alternatives

There is no widely recognized or "verified" software package explicitly titled "netcat gui v13exe." Caution is advised, as Netcat is frequently flagged by antivirus software due to its ability to create unauthorized shells or backdoors into systems. Unofficial .exe files claiming to be "verified" versions often bundle malware or unauthorized remote access tools. The "Netcat GUI v1

Netcat GUI v1.3

Understanding Netcat GUI v1.3: Verification and Use Cases is a graphical interface for the legendary "Swiss Army Knife" of networking, Netcat (nc) . While the original Netcat is a command-line tool used for reading and writing data across network connections using TCP or UDP, the GUI version simplifies these complex operations for users who prefer a visual layout. Netcat

(often called the "Swiss Army knife of networking") is a legitimate command-line tool for reading/writing data across network connections. But search terms like "v13exe" and "verified" in conjunction with "netcat gui" are unusual — official Netcat distributions do not typically use this naming pattern, and "v13exe" suggests a specific executable file that may be unverified, potentially bundled with malware, keyloggers, or backdoors.

    This seems to work:
    #!/usr/bin/perl -w use strict; use LWP::UserAgent; my $ua = LWP::UserAgent->new; my $url = 'http://localhost/...'; $ua->default_headers->push_header(Range => "bytes=1000-2000"); my $response = $ua->get($url); my $content = $response->content(); warn length($content); warn $content;
    To get the current content length of the object, you can do a HEAD before and look at the content-length header.
      The code works verrrrrrry good eserte. Big thanks. But new question arrive to my head, are there any way to know if the server have the abbility of "Accept-Ranges: bytes" ?? Thanks in advance.
        Try fetching with HEAD instead of GET to view the Accept* headers without getting the content itself
