Nokia 3310 TA-1030 USB Driver MTK: The Ultimate Installation and Troubleshooting Guide

1. Power off your Nokia 3310 TA-1030 completely. Remove the battery for 5 seconds, then reinsert it (do not power on).
2. Connect the phone to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Watch Device Manager carefully. For 2-3 seconds, you should see MediaTek USB Port (COMx) appear under "Ports (COM & LPT)," then disappear.

   Phase 2: Install the MTK USB VCOM Driver

   Download OK.

   • • SP Flash Tool (v5.1824 – v5.1916) – for firmware write/read
     • Maui META Tool – for IMEI repair, RF calibration
     • SN Write Tool – for writing serial numbers
     • MiFlash – not applicable (this is not Xiaomi)
     • Download MediaTek USB VCOM (Preloader) driver.
     • Use Device Manager → Update driver → Choose .inf from extracted folder.
     • Verify COM port appears.
     • Use SP Flash Tool or other MTK tools only with correct firmware/scatter file.
