A is a tool used to open and interact with .qmg files, which are a proprietary graphics format developed by Samsung for its mobile device themes and system animations. Understanding the QMG File Format

1. Open the target QMG file in QMG Viewer.
2. Use the filter to show only textures or sprites.
3. Preview the texture to confirm it’s the asset you want.
4. Export the texture to PNG.
5. Edit in your image editor.
6. Re-pack or replace in the game using the game’s mod tools or a repacking utility.

• Proprietary Format: QMG is not an open standard like JPEG or PNG. It is owned and developed by Samsung.
• Encrypted/Compressed: These files are often compressed or lightly encrypted to protect the intellectual property of theme designers.
• Not Raster or Vector: A QMG file is neither a pure raster image (pixels) nor a pure vector file. It contains UI elements, 9-patch images, and XML metadata used to skin a phone’s interface.
• Common Locations: You will find QMG files inside .smt (Samsung Theme) packages or extracted from Galaxy Store theme downloads.
