Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 and its expansion, Yuri's Revenge

    Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge has stood the test of time, and its enduring popularity can be attributed to several factors:

    1. Purchase & Install The Ultimate Collection via the EA App.
    2. Locate the install folder (usually C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The Ultimate Collection\Red Alert 2\).
    3. Download CnCNet from cncnet.org. Run the installer and select your Yuri’s Revenge folder.
    4. Let CnCNet patch the game. It will create a new shortcut: "CnCNet Yuri’s Revenge."
    5. Launch the game via the CnCNet client. Do not use the original ra2.exe or yuri.exe.
    6. Configure renderer: In the CnCNet settings, select "cnc-ddraw" as the renderer. Set your native resolution (e.g., 1920x1080).
    7. Optional performance tweak: Right-click the CnCNet shortcut → Properties → Compatibility → Check "Disable fullscreen optimizations" and set "High DPI scaling override" to "Application."
