Warranty and Support
- Shut off water pressure at the customer’s main valve.
- Remove the screwless top cap using a flathead screwdriver (pry from the notch at 6 o’clock).
- Disconnect the SmartPoint module by gently pulling the ribbon cable connector (page 33 cautions: do not pull on wires).
- Slide the old battery out of the module housing.
- Insert new battery, observing polarity (+/-) as etched into plastic.
- Reassemble and test: The LCD should boot within 10 seconds. Navigate to the “Status” screen by pressing the recessed button with a paperclip (hold for 3 seconds).
