12. Maintenance

• This unit can be mounted in an electronics rack or on a bulkhead, ideally in a well-ventilated area protected from moisture.
• Connections for power, data, and optionally for interfacing with other electronics (like chartplotters) are detailed.

: Connects to the second designated terminal (typically terminal 12).

• Red: +12/24V DC power (from autopilot computer’s sensor power output)
• Black: Ground
• Yellow: Feedback signal output (to the autopilot computer’s feedback input)
• Green: Shield/drain wire (connect to ground at the computer end only – never at the sensor end)

The Good (What works well):

• Red: +5V DC Supply (from Autopilot)
• Blue/Black: Signal Output
• Green/Yellow: Ground (Shield)
