Check the adapter itself. If it has a sticker saying "SR9600," "SR9700," or "USB 2.0 to Fast Ethernet," it is compatible.

Since there is no official installer for newer Windows versions, you must force the driver installation manually:

• macOS: There is no official support for this chipset on macOS. It is extremely difficult to find a working driver for macOS Big Sur, Monterey, or Ventura. If you are on a Mac, it is highly recommended to buy a compatible adapter (ones using Realtek RTL8153 chips) rather than trying to force the SR9600 to work.
