Wabbit – A Looney Tunes Production (Season 1) —later rebranded as —marked a significant shift for the franchise when it premiered on Cartoon Network on September 21, 2015. After the sitcom-style The Looney Tunes Show , Season 1 aimed to return the characters to their slapstick roots while placing them in modern, 21st-century settings. Core Concept and Format

• The Grim Rabbit (a luchador rabbit): Wants to beat Bugs at any game, but only games he invents. He represents performative competitiveness.
• Squeaks the Squirrel: Not a villain, but a chaotic neutral force. His only trait is indestructible, maniacal cheerfulness. He is Bugs’ opposite—where Bugs is still water, Squeaks is a hyperactive flame.
• Leslie P. Lilylegs (perfume-wearing frog): Wants to destroy gardens with cuteness and passive aggression. He is suburban passive-aggression weaponized.
• The Mountain Lion (Pampreen): A social media influencer obsessed with her “brand.” She is defeated not by force, but by Bugs giving her an algorithm-friendly disaster.

Format:

1. Squeaks the Squirrel (The Accidental Sidekick)

Technically not a villain, Squeaks is a small, hyper-intelligent, mute squirrel who lives in Bugs’ tree. He is the "Ned Flanders" to Bugs' "Homer." Squeaks is unfailingly polite, mechanically brilliant, and utterly oblivious to danger.
