- Battery check: Fully charge before first ride; ensure battery locks into place.
- Lights & reflectors: Confirm front/rear lights and reflectors work if riding at night.
- Weight limits: Do not exceed the manufacturer’s payload rating (typically 220–265 lb / 100–120 kg).
Setting Up Your Zpao Correctly (The Manual's Cheat Sheet)
- Do not charge immediately after a hot ride. Let the battery cool to room temperature (approx. 1 hour).
- Use only the Zpao 54.6V 2A charger. Generic chargers have different cut-off voltages.
- Charge to 100% only before riding. For storage, keep at 60% (approx. 50 volts on the display).
- The LED on the charger: Red = Charging, Green = Full/Trickle.
- Ensure the gap between the magnet and the sensor is 3-5mm (thickness of two credit cards).
- If you replaced a spoke, the magnet might be reversed. The "S" side of the magnet must face the sensor.
